If you are a working Mom in St. Pete then there is a group for you!!  Their motto is "every Mom is a working Mom!"  If you work, are pregnant, or are a stay at home Mom this is a wonderful group for you!  They have lots of events and playdates.  It is a great place to have fun, but to find support as well.  To join just click the link below!

 

 

 

 

Moms Like Me is one of our favorite places to connect with local parents!!  Get advice, find a playgroup, learn about the latest in children's and family information, find great bargains and deals.  It's a GREAT way to connect!! 
 

I have found a GREAT way to combine a great workout with quality time with my baby.  It's called StollerFit!  Christie Bruner is the instructor and I have never had so much fun working out.  We sing our ABCs instead of counting reps.  The kids love the interaction and I love that I am getting an aerobic workout along with resistance training.  So check it out!  www.strollerfit.com/index.cfm

Local Celebrity!

Winter is a dolphin in Clearwater at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.  Winter was caught in a crab trap when she was 2 months old and her tail was so badly damaged that it fell off.  Thanks to Hanger Prosthetics Winter wears a prosthesis!  Winter is an inspiration for children and adults all over the world.  And the work on her prosthesis is making huge strides in prosthetic technology.  Scholastic Press has released a children's book titled "Winter's Tail:  How One Little Dolphin Learned to Swim Again.  A copy is in the Treehouse for your review.  You can buy the book in any bookstore or at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.  A Nintendo DS games was recently released as well.  Check out Winter's web site for more details.  Just click below.
